—  I think supporting backfill (atleast ONE day) would help you gain and keep customers. I am on the verge of changing brokers because i am tired of waking up to find out quotetracker has crashed, my electricity went out during the night, or my internet had a disruption making it so i can not trade that day at all because all my indicators like volume, volume by price, trend lines, and paintbars are all wrong and my charts have huge gaps in them. There is no way for me to trade that day and i usualy miss out on moves i could have been in if i had the data. It is starting to realy effect my trading profitability.

Please, please support atleast ONE day backfill....please!!!
Im not sure how much longer i can take this.

I am a little confused here and we certainly do not want to lose a single client. We have historic data available for any 3rd party integrator so if QT loses bars it should be simple for that application to request those bars from us. As far as "backfill" we did just start offerign this for FX however we have not really heard a need for backfill files since offering historic. Are you sure about your request being something MBT needs to do? Please let me know as always I am listening.

Quotetracker is in the process of drawdown and will not implement the backfill capability that MBT has. Desktop Pro's "minutes" charts backfill seamlessly. But, the seconds charts only backfills about an hour at a time. Sometime it stops and gives you a connection 0 error. If that happens you just have to wait. My hope is that the Desktop Pro's "seconds" charts will be improved to include a feature that will load about 8 hours at a time. This will also make the technicals fill out correctly. If MBT makes this improvement you can get nearly instantaneous backfill for all Desktop Pro charts.

We have done a tremendous amount of work on the tick databases over the last several weeks, with more to come. That being said you must be on the latest version in order to take advantage of the work. Please make sure you have installed from the website the newest Desktop Pro. I suspect you will see your issues resolved.
