Ever since I migrated from MBT Nav to Nav Pro Auto-complete symbols in market depth window doesn't work. It remembers the symbols until the program restarts, but doesn't store them in windows registry. As a result you have to enter all symbols fully again in market depth window after the restart. Curiously, even though Nav Pro doesn't store changes in registry, it reads auto-complete histroy left in registry by Nav. So, it auto-completes 50 symbols that were there by the time you used Nav last time, but doesn't add/replace new symbols.

P.S.: "Preferences - General - Auto-complete symbols" turned on.

I was just told by the staff at MB that if I want to use the Metatrader charts, I have to open a new account, put new money into it. Why on earth? What I"d like to be able to do is to use the Metatrader charts to see what the price will likely do, then place my trade through the Navigator, which is the platform I'm familiar with. This would be a major help to MB traders, IMHO. read more...

I use Omnitrader, and I currently trade the forex market. It would be nice if you could provide a forex data feed into Omnitrader. I have spoken to your technical dept. before about this issue, and they really couldn't provide an answer for me.
I pay for a data feed right now through another data service provider, and sometimes your data and their data do not match.
Which of course makes it difficult to analyze when I am in a trade. Do you see this as possibly a service you might provide in
the near future? I know you are working on providing service for Metatrader users, but Omnitrader does have much more to offer in the way of trading the currency market (or any market for that matter) as far as software package goes. Thanks, RUS1BUS read more...

Sometimes I forget what time it is and the freeze in trading during rollover and maintains. The charts start doing some strange stuff and of course Navigator looses all players. Has caused me to spill my drink and I think my heart stopped a couple times.
I know you send a message but, it would be real nice if there was a color change to the overall charts in MT4 and/or in the Navigator just before and during this period. read more...

When I traded with Options Express I would receive an e-mail immediately after confirming the trade. Having to go to the MB trading website to get this info is very slow and non-user friendly. I would appreciate a program similar to my previous broker to keep my trades organized.

Thanks, Don Marti read more...

Facilitate free generation of Schedule-D reports (that take care of wash-sales as well) for tax filing purpose. This is what TD Ameritrade provides. For detailed requirements, have a look at TDA's implementation. Currently Penson has a Profit/Loss link but this is clunky and could be improved upon. read more...

Hello,

I'd like to be able to program my own Chart Studies, Chart Plug-ins, and Workspace plug-ins for the MBT Pro platfoorm.  Besides adding to the few standard indicators and displays that are not already covered (i.e. Renko), I would like to be able to program my own custom indicators.  These would have functionality beyond the current Formula scripting capabilities current a part of MBT Pro.  Additionally, I'd like the chance to program and distribute these indicators as add-ons to the MBT Pro platform.

Thanks for your consideration, Brian Warren

I would use the Navigator's quotes for stocks if it had a column for average daily volume.  It has a column for intraday volume, but that is useless to me if I can't compare a stock's current intraday volume to its average daily volume for past 50 days or so.  This weekend I upgraded to latest Navigator and was disappointed to see that avg. daily volume is still not available.  In the past dozen years I have used four other brokers other than MB in addtition to Quote Tracker, and they ALL have avg. daily volume.

Otherwise I have been extremely happy with MB Trading and continue to be a very loyal customer.

After contacting MBT staff, it seems like the NavPro tick charts are limited to only 1 tick intervals, which in my opinion, has extremely limited use.  Allowing users to set their own tick intervals (just like custom minute intervals, which is an excellent feature) would greatly improve the tick charts of MBT's trading platform.

Currently, the smallest width of candles in Nav Pro is 3 pixels. It would be VERY nice if you allowed candles width to be 2 and 1 pixels in future releases, to allow seeing more information in the charts without making the charts a mess. Let me illustrate what I mean:

Candle from MBT Nav pro with the smallest (3 pixels) body width (magnified in Photoshop):

Hi,

I have been trading with the Navigator platform for the past 4-5 months and have one major issue with it at this point.  It does not allow me to make immediate market orders with only one click of my mouse.  Other platforms that I have used do offer this functionality (e.g., Citi FX Pro, Forex.com's Trader Pro, and Deutsche Bank's DBFX platform).  While it can be riskier for me as a trader to have this function enabled, I find it quite helpful during times of high volatility (such as around news events) and/or when I am managing more than one position.

I would greatly appreciate it if your team would look into what it would take to offer this feature for the Navigator.  I think it's something most of the newer and better platforms have and would be a very positive addition for MBT to incorporate into the Navigator.

Thanks for your consideration.

Jon

If I try to resize quote sheet window that has title bar tuned off (to save desktop space) MBT Nav Pro crashes. Several Nav Pro builds passed but this bug is still here.

It would be nice to be able to plot the volume by price on the left edge of the charts (similar to market profile) with the option of highlighting the highest volume bar, commonly called the point of control (poc). Is it possible to create my own plugin for the navigator desktop pro to accomplish this? read more...

The CME information on the requirements for the CME Globex market data fee-waiver are shown in the link below. MB Trading clients who have a funded MB Trading account that is approved for futures trading should meet the requirements if your clients are trading through a MB Trading order entry system or platform with only access to the Globex data for the  electronically traded products. Please make this market data fee-waiver available to MB Trading futures trading clients.

Please see the following link for verification from CME's own product documentation (pdf, page 21, right side, paragraph 2). Or look at the attachment, same page references.
http://www.cmegroup.com/globex/files/GlobexRefGd.pdf

"There are certain criteria that must be met to qualify for a CME Globex market data fee-waiver. The main three criteria are that a user/device must only be accessing market data for electronically traded products from CME Globex, the user/device is capable
of routing orders to CME Globex, and the user has a capitalized futures account capable of trading CME Group’s or Participating Exchange’s products."

Everything is great when your making buckets of money!  But what if you want or need to make more or stop losing loads?  Without the ability to review bulk trading stats whether realtime on the fly intraday or  daily, weekly, monthly...etc . You'll never know % winnes or % losers or Profit factor or % profitable....You just have a bottom line P&L on your account. AND that is NOT enough to thoroughly evaluate and analyze one's trading performance .....you're bacically trading in the dark. Time to turn on the LIGHT!

I could not find a way to have A limit order to be active during all trading times, be it pre market, trading and after market hours.
My request would be to implement an order of type limit that will be active for any trading time.
Of course it is expected that such an order will be a GTC order. Such an order should be possible to initiate any time, not just during normal trading hours.
I am aware that other trading platforms provide such an option. read more...
