consolidated account PnL for year end tax return purposes

— year end tax return simplified with a consolidated profit and loss statement so that we do not have to do the compilation that can be several hundreds of pages of our daily transactions. Is there a better way to submit to our CPA at tax time with fewer pages for yr end tax returns. Is there a software to do just that instead of the excel spreadsheet.

p/l reports

— why dont the p/l reports show the proffit or loss from the trade in the final column then total it at the bottom insted of the amount the BUY cost was then the amount the SELL was for. eg bought 100shares xyz @ $10.00 ...$1000.00 sold 100 shares xyz @ $11.00......$1100.00 ....then the last column should read p/l $100...for daytraders it's a pain to have to total the trades and keep a running tab ourselves especially if you do multiple trades in one day read more...
