Return of $1 Minimum (PLAN A) commission for Equities

— There has been a change in the equities commission plan, and now the minimum is $4.95 per trade.

I loved the $1 minimum commission plan (PLAN A) as I trade in small amounts now. And based on this plan, I have recommended many friends to MBT as it is the cheapest way to begin trading in the stock market.

Vote for the return of the $1 minimum commission plan =)

The new $5 minimum plan for stocks has severely discouraged me from trading as actively as I used to. I was doing a pairs strategy, which now costs $20 round trip which isn’t feasible. I also can no longer scale in and out of positions because the transaction costs are too high. I would love to see the per share pricing come back with a lower minimum.

Totally agree. I think at least it should be kept as an option for us.

2.50$ would be ok, but looking to the kind of stock investments I'm looking forward to do, 4.95$ minimum discourages me totally from funding my account.
