cursor pip/time measurement.

—  MT4 and other charting softwares already do this. You activate the cursor, click+hold on point A... move the cursor to point B and you get the pip distance and time (# of candles) from point A to B.

Basic stuff.

Is the idea to measure Pip distance on the Y axis? From the top of one bar to for example the bottom of another bar?
As far as time, as you saying a measure of 10min if the bars were 1min each and 10 were selected?
Where is this data to be displayed; In the legend, on top of the drawn line, somewhere else?

1. Yes, measuring pip on the Y axis. Wouldnt be possible in any other way.

2. If there are 10 candles from point A to point B, then the then the legend should display 10. (In case of 1min chart, that would be 10 mins and in case of 1hr chart that would mean 10hrs)

3. Near the cursor tip of point "B"

Here is a visual example of how its done on metatrader. (In this case, monthly chart of eur/usd. Hence large no of pips. 15666 = 1566.6 pips)
