Increasingly, my financial account log in credentials are being enhanced by the use of a security token that generates a one time password to log into my account.  I believe this scheme is becoming the industry norm as online fraud continues to be a huge problem.

One way to add this protection would be for MB Trading to join VeriSign's VIP access network.  A customer would buy the token from VeriSign if they wanted this protection... they are $30 and can be used at other sites that also belong to the network... that's what makes this one solution appealing, some customers already own the token, and in any case, could use the same token, and the investment in one across multiple participating sites.

Of course there are many other ways to add this level of security.  VeriSign's seems to be a good program from a trusted company.  You can check their program out here:

A nice feature would be a tick counter on the charts for the current bar, similar to the minute countdown.  For example, if a 500 tick chart is being viewed, a counter in the bottom right corner would count from 500 to 0 (or 0 to 500) for each bar, and then start back over when the next bar is printed.  This seems like a quick add-in, since the ticks are already being counted.....although I guess there could be a lag between the printed tick count and the actual tick count with high volume securities.

I found no results when searching for this idea, so I am interested to hear if this has ever been brought up.

Thanks,
Brandon

If you try to use Options Strategist in MBT Desktop Pro and it crashes with "run-time error 0" check your Windows' Regional and Lenguage Options. "Format" in Format tab should be English (United States). I had "Russian" and Option Strategiest didn't work. I changed Windows date & time format to English (United States) and Options Strategist works now.

Hotkeys currently don't work in Desktop Pro. I'd really like to see them working, primarily to "Close Position" or "Close all Positions".

I have downloaded and installed the latest version of Desktop Pro.  Everyday, several times a day, when I switch to another open application and return to Desktop Pro, my Positions Window is blank - empty.  I work with all of my windows docked inside the larger MDI window.  I have to shut down Desktop Pro and restart to get the Positions Window to display my positions again.  Why is this happening?

MT4 and other charting softwares already do this. You activate the cursor, click+hold on point A... move the cursor to point B and you get the pip distance and time (# of candles) from point A to B.

Basic stuff.

As I understand it , if commands are added in to original files the express edition of Visual Studio will honor them, unfortunately build events are not  accessible in Express Edition and command lines are unable to be added on this end without shelling out 500 bucks plus to upgrade visual studio - it is the only error I am receiving and would greatly appreciate if possible - Thanks

It would be great if extended hour data were available for charts at all times. So if I request a chart in the middle of the day for a symbol, I would like to be able to see it's pre-market activity.  Also, I may want to see activity from last night in the after-hours.  Please make extended hours an option.  When this option is checked, you would see all pre-market and after-market activity.

Hi,

I have been trading with the Navigator platform for the past 4-5 months and have one major issue with it at this point.  It does not allow me to make immediate market orders with only one click of my mouse.  Other platforms that I have used do offer this functionality (e.g., Citi FX Pro, Forex.com's Trader Pro, and Deutsche Bank's DBFX platform).  While it can be riskier for me as a trader to have this function enabled, I find it quite helpful during times of high volatility (such as around news events) and/or when I am managing more than one position.

I would greatly appreciate it if your team would look into what it would take to offer this feature for the Navigator.  I think it's something most of the newer and better platforms have and would be a very positive addition for MBT to incorporate into the Navigator.

Thanks for your consideration.

Jon

I signed up for a demo account. I ave tried using Explorer and Explorer Pro and have found using them to be extremely difficult. I am a beginning trader and this whole thing is new to me.

My first problem is that I am wanting to trade options but your tutorials are about Forex. I am unable to use them. Second problem is as a brand new online trader I am not sure which features/tools that I would need to put on Explorer in order to make it work for me.

When clicking on the options button and bringing that screen/window down found that there no place that I could recognize, to put the information that  I need in order to make my trade.  The termnology ws different.  I did find the place for the ticker and the month and maybe? the date. I found "put" but sell to close and trailing stop were missing.

So my suggestion is that you have a tutorial for beginning option traders taking them step by step and explaining what each thing means.  Every one has to start someplace. If your software is easy for a beginner to use they will most likely stay with you. As it is I am having to switch to another broker, one with software that is easier to figure out. I even wents so far as to hire a guy whose has done some computer work for me and is good a figuring out how software functiions and getting things set up. After almost 3 hours he was still stumped and I was several dollars poorer.

It is difficult for developers to find things on the MBT website. On the home page there is a link for Developers - which is good. When you get there, you need to choose the small menu item "MBT SDK". This page is the problem. On this page, there are links for "Register for MBT SDK" and "Join SDK Forums". This is good if you are a new developer. If you are a returning developer, it is difficult to find what you are looking for. When you click "Register for MBT SDK", there is a section of the page on the left to register. This is good. But the problem is, this is also where all the stuff developers need is located. And it's not immediately apparent where it is. To get to the sample files, you need to click "Developer Notes". This is no good. As a returning developer, I would not think to click on "Register for MBT SDK" to find this stuff. Please make the link for "Register for MBT SDK" only about registering. Please put the other stuff right on the main "MBT SDK" page. For example (this is the content from "Register" page, with some editorial changes): Welcome to the Navigator SDK! Simply install the retail Navigator and immediately begin coding your own strategies using the power of the individual Navigator OCX controls and COM objects. Use any Microsoft COM-compatible development environment from Visual Studio version 6 up, including VBA in Excel. Here are some sample programs <link here> to get you going. Here is the Help file <link here> describing all the objects and their properties and methods. Here are some Developer Notes<link here>. Here are Release Notes <link here> for the latest version. read more...

Can you please incorporate the Options on Futures contracts.
You enable us to trade futures contract on CBOT (example soybean oil), but you have not included all the options linked to the futures. They are trade on CBOT too. It should not be a problem.

Thank you very much, read more...

Guys, I believe I mistakenly deleted our entire thread from this past weekend with regard to TTO with a break even ratchet. I apologize.

My recollection is we had agreement that the need was to create a TTO order where the bottom leg would tick up as the market ticked up beyond our entry point until the leg either hit the break even (basis) number or that number plus a certain amount more. Please add your comments here so we can get this worked on.

Again, my apologies.
