Can you describe the steps exactly so we can try to replicate? Ross

in NavPro, click "File" at the upper left corner, then click "New", then click "Watchlist", a watchlist which you might have viewed last time will be popped out move the cursor to the watchlist, and right click, a menu shows up, then click "new watchlist", fill any stock ID I can't find anyway to "save" this watchlist or "rename" it, so just close it then move the cursor to a watchlist, and right click a menu shows up, click "open watchlist", you'll see the new watchlist is in grey, and unclickable.

Actually, I wish there is another menu showing up after clicking "open watchlist". This sub-menu would contain all watchlist names

Problem with that is if you move off the menu file list it will close and you will have to drill down three menus to get back to it. May I suggest just having at least one Watchlist open on your page and just right click to open any and all other Watchlists? Ross

Sorry, I don't quite get why there is such a problem. What I'm suggesting is just like those menu operations in microsoft windows: click "start", then click "programs", then click "accessories", we can see a list of accessories. We don't need to open one accessory, and then right click to open another one. Right? However, it's a minor problem. I care more about how to save, rename, and VIEW my newly created watchlists. Thanks a lot for you reply!

There is no problem at all, I am simply trying to determine if we are talking about something that does or does not yet exist. You may find we have implemented something you are not yet aware of and once you do see it you may find it suits your needs. -Watchlists can be opened from other Watchlists, are you clear on how this works now? -Watchlists are automatically saved on the fly upon shut down, are you aware of this? -Watchlists can be renamed from each Watchlist, are you clear on how this happens now? -Watchlists can be newly created by right clicking on any Watchlist, are you clear on how this happens now? So before we expand the Watchlist File menu to include all available Watchlists I just want to make sure all the above is understood. As I said earlier I am fearful that this could cause frustration if the mouse focus moves off the menu and the user has to start the drill down process all over again. Let me know. R

Please, I'm aware of all those. For the rename function, you have a specific button on the menu. What's I'm asking is that I'd like to have a "save" window popping out where I can write the name of watchlist, just like you create a document in microsoft, and you can save it with the name of your choice. Now what we are doing now is like the following in microsoft windows: create a document, close it; the system automatically gives it a name, and then you open windows browser, find the file, and rename it. Do you get the analog? I know you have been working very hard on this software, and I appreciate your effort very very much! Just, try to think from an ordinary user point of view. Anyway, it's a minor thing. We are still nowhere getting to the major issue: I cannot open the watchlist I just created in the NavPro.

"As I said earlier I am fearful that this could cause frustration if the mouse focus moves off the menu and the user has to start the drill down process all over again". I still don't understand. If so, it seems it's not a big issue for microsoft windows, which has menu, sub-menu, sub-submenu... I think it is a useful extra feature. But I can live with the current ones.

"-Watchlists can be newly created by right clicking on any Watchlist, are you clear on how this happens now?" It seems you didn't read my earlier description at all : "in NavPro, click "File" at the upper left corner, then click "New", then click "Watchlist", a watchlist which you might have viewed last time will be popped out move the cursor to the watchlist, and right click, a menu shows up, then click "new watchlist", fill any stock ID" This is how I create a new watchlist. I don't get why you still wanna question if I'm "clear on how this happens". Do you have an alternative way? Please let me know. Thanks.
