Options

—  Probably the singlemost biggest request that I have with MB is to make options on futures available .
 
 I love trading with MB but I hate having to go to another broker for these .

 Options on futures are a great way to hedge currency risk also as well as provide an alternative for people that want to trade other futures contracts without having to put up a large amount of margin .

Just a little input

—  First , let me get this out of the way .  I would like to suggest more detailed account info for those of us using Ninja Trader , merely showing the balance is not efficient as it is important to be able to see things like how much margin is being utilized at a particular time on fx trades for example or rollover interest .

I will try and make this as short as possible .
I have been trading for many years , most of my experience is in forex that began back when online currency trading was in it`s infancy , it was not possible to trade without a market maker acting as counter party unless you had upward of 10 million or so in your account , I was with CMC and Refco at first and then several other dealers over the years , many of us never knew that we were trading in a secondary market created by a broker , they always refered to it as " the interbank market " . Now that many things have been brought to light , most educated retail forex traders would never trade with a broker counterparty and so the latest fashion seems to be the ECN bandwagon .

MB Trading is so far the best when it comes to online forex trading  , the revolutionary concept of order matching , the EXN Router if you will ,  is fantastic to say the least . I sincerely hope that this can evolve in to the first real exchange for retail forex trading which is way over due in a market that often leverages it self against the average retail trader. I am quite pleased with the time spent trading so far at MB . If IG Group can create an exchange for trading binary fx options then MB Trading can do the same for retail spot trading .

I have some input however regarding customer service and account details at MB .Most of the customer service people that I have dealt with at MB give me the impression that they dont always know what their doing, dealing with cashiering is always difficult , doing anything whether it`s putting some money in the bank or setting up ach or simply trying to get assistance with account issues always seems like it takes an act of congress . I realize that security is a concern but I have to make a comparison .

I recently set up an account with a well known discount broker primarily for some equites dealing . This company is one of the highest rated brokers available yet the account set up was completely streamlined , I was able to set up a new account , sign all of the paperwork including exchange data for read more...

Free Dow data & charting

— I trade Forex with Desktop pro. 'Free' Dow data and charting (as well as other Indices Futures) is provided by some of MB Broker Competitors. They also incorporate the ability to trade these indices on the forex platform without havin to open a separate Futures Trading account.  Such a feature(s) is very compelling as it provides a reliable barometer of risk appetite. MBT Desktop Pro issues

—    Hi , i like the features that Desktop Pro offers, however i think with little more work on the platform it will offer easier access to tools  , here are some of my ideas

    1: placing the chart bar and drawing tools on the left side of the charts for easy access instead of them being on the "main window" and have to switch back and forth to choose a tool , with a button at the top of this list to hide/appear the list so the trader can hide it when he/she isn't using it works like the start button in Windows

    2: a place at the top of the chart where you can put date and time and the chart will put you at that specific candle makes looking at the history much easier

    3:the first list in the charts window where the pairs are listed , why aren't all the pairs listed in there by default ? i have to insert them one by one , and if it's because the software is used for stocks and equities too then perhaps adding an option to choose ' forex , stocks or equities ' in there to choose which default group to put in that list ?

    4:to make the mouse middle button work the same way as in metatrader plus shows the number of pips when you drag it between two points

    5:i keep having to tick the auto scale for some reason it keeps unchecking by it self

    6:at the bottom of the charts where open entry place is , if the open positions can be placed there as well similar to how metatrade works that way it provides an easier access to the open positions without the current open positions window blocking the charts
